Skye: everybody, from my pov, was just talking and getting along and rolling with punches and now the game is really starting

I just told Casey what's been going on this morning. Casey agrees with me that Calum is being pretty sloppy with how he's approaching this. What Calum's been doing is holding all his cards close to his chest, but trying to pull information from everybody else, like he's some mafia lord. So, in that conversation I just posted, it was basically me being a little more aggressive with him. He doesn't hold power over me anymore, so I have no problem getting a little more persistent. As you can see, he didn't give up much, but what he did show me, was that he's not wanting nominations to remain as Boog and Tahan because that's "boring". Calum has said to me the past hour, in a variety of ways, that he wants to make a move. That much is clear. Casey told me that apparently before nominations, Calum was worried about a "girl's alliance". This brings me back to that point in time when Calum and Russell were both talking to me about no alliances ever being made, almost identically word for word. Is there some sort of guy's alliance forming because they think there's a girl one? Lmao. Why does everything have to wind up being a gender war? It's old. I feel like this happens way, way too much.

I told Casey about what Candice told me, how Calum said he was "unsure" about me, and that I felt like the "big move" Calum could have made is backdooring me. Casey at one point asked if Candice could have been his option instead of me, but I don't know. Yeah, Candice would be a great choice to backdoor for Calum, but him telling her all that stuff, including his nominations, makes me think they're close? Casey thinks he could have done that just to cover his bases with her if she remained safe, and wanted to make her feel safe despite an impending backdoor attempt. I don't know. The bottom line is, it could have been Candice or I, and I'm not okay with that. Calum needs to go and he needs to go as soon as possible. I don't feel safe with him in this game, and neither should any of the girls after this point. I also really don't want the guys to think there's some huge girl's alliance. I mean, there kinda' is, but Casey's in it? And it hardly matters, because I feel closer to Greg then I do Boog or Joey in my respective alliances with them. This is just becoming frustrating. I guess the upside is that the game is finally starting!

Calum is now taking a new approach in asking if Tahan would stay against Boog. I told him it could be close, as they both seem semi-equal in competitions, although Tahan coming close in the Power of Veto could be seen as threatening to others. Also, Tahan's time difference could play a role. I played it off that I was neutral though, because Tahan told me she and him were speaking, and said that I talk to Boog as much as I do with Tahan, despite her living on the other side of the world. I just need to get through this. I'm not going to make a deal with Calum; I'm not going to make promises I know I can't keep. I don't want to play this game dirty if I don't have to.

Gosh. Throwing is an addiction that I can't seem to kick. ;x Like, I want to win because I have two people I'd 100% put up, but then again, there are reasons why I shouldn't win. The pro to winning would mean that I'd be able to put up two people and justify my reasons for doing so. I'd look good to my alliance for putting this pair up and it'd be a win on my physical record. However, those could also be cons. The reasons why throwing might be beneficial are that Calum isn't eligible to play, and because of not voting, neither is Russell. Those would be my two nominations. Everyone else playing? All my allies. A majority of them would likely nominate Calum and Russell; or at the very least, one of them. I know Candice is going to fight for it, I believe Boog will too. Joey, I'm not sure. She honestly doesn't need to win, but if she does, I'd feel safe. Casey is the person I'd expect the most to throw. Candice and I were just talking about his prime position in the game and how he likely has his hands in every cookie jar. I mean, I'm happy that he told me about Calum suspecting a girl's alliance, but for Calum to take that information to him and for Casey to keep it hush until the end of the round? I can read between the lines: he's trying to keep his options open.

Greg winning would also be great. I told Greg how I was voting a few hours before deadline. We said we'd watch eachother's back and I didn't want him to be blindsided by my vote. I knew he was wanting to keep Tahan and it just felt right to atleast let him know what I was doing. When I was talking to Joey last night, she was telling me that Greg was coming to her all pissed about the vote, supposedly saying that nobody clued him in on Boog staying and that Tahan was going. I did actually inform him that there was a big chance Boog would stay, but I wasn't going to say so to Joey. I figured that Greg was just trying to play the 'woe is me' card to try and throw a target off his back. If Greg were to win, I know I'd be safe, but I don't think my allies would be. That's the only con to Greg winning; but I don't know if Greg could win this? I know he's an avid viewer of the AUS version of Big Brother, so he'd definitely get those right .. which are probably what the majority would get wrong? He could win!

If I were to throw and someone like Candice or Boog won, two people in my main alliance, they'd do the nominations and they'd get the blood on their hands. They'd have the person that stays coming after them first. There's an appeal to that. I don't want Candice to go anywhere just yet, but having people after her and not me, is a much better situation. I'm unsure of what Calum's real intentions were last round [whether it was myself or Candice as the backdoor if Tahan won], but I think it's reason enough to try and dip below the surface again .. atleast for this round. I just hope Candice isn't thinking the same thing as me and she actually tries to win the competition. If Russell were eligible to play, I'd likely fight to win, but I don't see the point with both my targets not even competing. It just sucks because this is a competition I'd likely slay at. I love the voice competition! Ugh, we'll see. As of now, I'm leaning to throw.

I was so bummed when I saw I wasn't initially drawn for the Power of Veto. Faces, images .. those types of competitions are right up my alley! When I saw that Russell had Houseguest's Choice, I thought I had no shot. I assumed he would pick Casey! Despite that, I sent him an offline and wished him luck in the competition. We caught eachother online later in the day and we were just having casual conversation. He was upset about Boog nominating him when she had Greg, who actually cast a vote against her, safe from the block. I could understand that feeling, so I just tried to be an ear for him. I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a piece of me that wasn't enjoying it, because I felt like he was opening up to me and I'll admit, I had a thought of him asking me to play running through my mind. I wanted him to. However, instead of asking, he abruptly tells me that he picked me to play. I was thrilled, LOL. I felt bad because there's no way I was going to change these nominations, but the good thing is that he never asked me to save him if he won and we didn't make any deal; he just chose me. I did tell him that he had my vote 100% "if in the unfortunate event" nominations remained. That's the truth. There's no way I'm voting to keep Calum in this game.

So, I disliked Calum before because I felt he was really wanting to backdoor Candice or I. But now I have more information. Apparently, within the last day or two, Calum went to Candice and scrambled. He told her that he wanted to make a big move in his reign and felt that the big move would've been coming after her because people threw her name out; something along those lines. As Candice was telling me, I was like, "oh, did you ask who they were?" and she told me she had the names; Greg, Casey, .. and ME! My immediate reaction was just .. wait, what? LOL. Like, did this guy seriously goto Candice and tell her I wanted her out or thought about going through with a plan to oust her? Get out of here! I told Candice that it was completely false, that the thought never crossed my mind to engage in whatever plan he had. The only reason I even entertained his idea of "making waves" was because I wanted him to tell me a name, which he never did! I had even showed Candice the log of that conversation days ago. I think she believes me, atleast I hope she does. When I'm loyal to someone in a game, I'm very loyal. I'm loyal to Candice, just as I hope she's loyal to me. Calum saying that not only aggravated me, but it validates that he needs to go this round.

Candice and I also had a random heart-to-heart during all of this. If she's playing me when she says these things, then she's brilliant, like, I'd be in awe and I'd give her so much kudos. I honestly feel like she and I could be friends outside of the game, because we get along well and have similar interests, etc. We both basically said that we're in it together, there's no going back on that, #RideOrDie. I think it'd be so dangerous to goto the end with Candice, but it could be a possibility for me. I just need to make sure that as the game goes on, I stand out more than she does. Yes, that's extremely risky, but I have to surpass her in the eyes of the other players and hope that I can make my way to the end before one of them gets me out. The risk I run in that, is that instead of people like Calum having the interest of backdooring her, they'll instead have those thoughts about me. I need to be really calculated now. With me winning two consecutive Power of Veto competitions, throwing isn't really much of an option anymore, especially with the numbers quickly dwindling.

LMAO. I'm sorry, but all the commotion going on after nominations is really hilarious. But, before we get to that! Before the end of last round, I was starting to think .. If I were to win Head of Household, I'd be in a position to draw first blood. I'm in an alliance with everyone left aside from Russell, but even Russell and I have been talking alot lately. I knew that I was going to have to throw this and just go hard for the Power of Veto if I got picked. Then again, maybe I wouldn't need to, because since I seem well enough with everyone, I'd be safe? Candice ended up winning which was fantastic. I really think that Casey is playing the exact same game as me. He's throwing competitions because he's good with just about everyone left. I need to get rid of Casey the first chance I get. I hate to do it, but it's a game move that needs to be made really soon. I know that Candice would support it, because she and I even talked about the possibility of doing it this week after she won Head of Household. Candice also wanted to put up Joey initially [because she's sucking terribly], but we agreed it was probably best to just do Greg and Russell, as Joey would have the ammo to blow up Candice and my game, saying that we were in an alliance with her, which would be news to Boog and Casey and would make things hard for us.

I know that Candice is actually a kind person, because she struggled so hard while trying to settle on Russell going up. I would have been in the same position if I won, because Russell has really been warming up to me, and I assume Candice too, given how torn up she was over making the decision. I told her that I'd support and have her back no matter what she decided, and then headed off to bed. I get on today and I see this fight taking place between Greg and the house. First thing I noticed? My name wasn't mentioned anywhere. Good. However, I feel bad for Candice. This decision was hard enough and Greg's being a total asshole about it. I mean, it's great to watch, but I'm close to Candice and I already know she was pained over it; it's bittersweet. On one end, I'm like, these are votes Candice is losing if she's in the end with me, but then I'm feeling guilty for even having these thoughts, because Candice is likely suffering. Ugh. It's hard to separate your gaming mind and your compassionate mind in games sometimes. I'm also really annoyed, because Greg's only chance to stay in this game now is to win Power of Veto. There's no way I could save him. Greg was supposed to be my second option for finals, but that's now looking like it's completely blown to pieces.

When and if I get a chance to talk to Greg, I'm going to lay it out honestly. The Power of Veto is all he has after a scene like that. Even if I voted to keep him post-nominations, he wouldn't stay. Like, if Greg doesn't win the Power of Veto, I don't know if I can even vote to save him. I'll mention it to Greg that in order to keep my game intact, I won't be able to give him a pity vote, because everyone is so dead set against him after the fight and it might be easy for people to assume it was me that kept him? I don't know. If I did vote to evict Russell, I could try and play innocent and pin it on Boog? I didn't want to play the game dirty like that though, but it might be necessary. Then again, I run the risk of Greg being all "Thank you for voting to keep me, Skye!" when and if he left. I love Greg, but he is extremely chaotic. I know that now, for sure. This week just kinda' sucks, but the upside is that I'm 100% safe. We'll see how it goes!

I didn't want to win Power of Veto, because I wanted Greg to possibly win. However, that wasn't the case. ;/ I'm happy Candice won though, but it just means that Greg's a goner. I did tell Greg something he could say before the Veto took place, to maybe save himself with Candice. It's honestly grasping for straws, but he really had nothing to lose. I told him to say that his blowing up at the ceremony was a ploy to cover up the possibility of him and Candice working together. I told him to approach Candice with it and see what she said before the Power of Veto competition, so it wasn't transparent. I don't know if Greg did it or not, but my purpose in doing this was to show Greg that I do want him to stay. With Candice winning and leaving nominations as is .. this now brings me to a dilemma. Should I throw a pity vote Greg's way with the risk of Candice finding out and feeling blindsided by me, or should I tell Greg that I don't see him staying and I can't cast a vote for him because it could hurt my chances after he goes? I feel like the second option is the more honest route, but it could also hurt my chances with Greg if I make the end? I don't know. I'd love to give Greg a vote because I did enjoy him in the game, but it could hurt me if nobody buys that I evicted him. If I do vote to evict Russell, I'd make Boog my fall guy, as she nominated Russell and would have reason to want him out over Greg, who she didn't nominate. Ugh, I don't know.

I still have a few hours to think about it. I'm going to talk it out with the others and make sure that it's definitely Greg going, though. Greg sent me an offline about what he's going to Boog and Casey with, but part of me doubts they'd go against Candice's desire this week, especially after all the nonsense Greg had started earlier in the round. All I know is, after this round, the game is on. If I win, I'm going to have to nominate Russell and Joey .. but a part of me wouldn't mind backdooring Casey. I love the guy, but he's such a threat for me at the end. I feel like he has almost no blood on his hands and I find his game somewhat similar to my own. The good news is, if I decide to throw Head of Household or I don't win even if I try, everyone is guaranteed to play in the Power of Veto, so I'll have another shot for safety. It's still risky, though. The game is getting so much harder as we move further. Is it kind of twisted that I wouldn't mind one of my allies winning and striking me first, before I strike them? It's weird, but then it makes me going after them extremely justified. I just don't want to keep throwing and then one round, I throw the wrong competition, and it gets me sent packing.

Oh, I forgot! Yesterday, Candice told me that when she had a chance to talk to Greg, he mentioned that Russell and I were really tight? Uh, what? That kind of bugs me. I mean, he definitely drew that conclusion from Russell picking me for Power of Veto the round before, but if it were true, I would have saved Russell, LOL. Like, I get Greg's trying to save himself, but after I just tried to help him out, he's going to toss me under the bus a little? I can't hold it against him because everyone's playing for themselves, but it kinda' makes me feel less inclined to want to give Greg a sympathy vote.

God, this round went by too fast. I'll try to sum everything up. I was ready to do Head of Household and got surprised by the fact that I was doing both competitions at once, not knowing who was going to be winning Head of Household or who the nominees were before even doing Veto. I knew right then and there, that I was going to have to go hard for both. I didn't want Head of Household, but I couldn't risk losing and one of my allies getting the idea of coming after me. I definitely wanted the Power of Veto, though. When results came out, Boog ended up winning Head of Household again. She's a beast with those Head of Household competitions! She and I had a pretty good chat awaiting results, so I felt I'd be safe with her. She seems to want she, Candice, Casey, and I in the Final 4 which is great to hear from her, but it's not really what I want. I'd like to cut her or Casey loose before we get to the F4. Boog ended up putting Joey and Russell on the block which was a simple decision for her. As far as I know, she's not close to them at all since Joey is never around, and she's put Russell up already. The negative thought, though, was that if one of the nominees won the competition, Boog would have to choose Candice, Casey, or I for the replacement.

I won the Power of Veto! Thank god. As soon as I won, Candice sent me a PM on the board and we had a little celebration over it. I didn't want to waste time thinking about my decision, because it was fairly simple. I don't want Candice to touch the block, so leaving the nominations as they are was the best thing for me. Now, i'm left with a problem. Who do I vote to evict? I've gotten a PM from Joey and Russell. Joey's was just her simply asking me for my vote. Now, see. I'm aligned to Joey, it would make perfect sense for me to keep her. However, I feel like she offers nothing to the game. She doesn't offer anything to my game. If I were on the block, do I feel like I could trust in her enough to keep me? No. Our social connection ended rounds ago because she stopped coming around. And in that time? I've grown closer to Russell. On a personal level, I'd rather keep Russell. However, Russell .. I believe he's planted firmly with Casey, which is who I want out more than anything right now. I feel like Russell would go after Boog and Candice, and not me too, so that's a plus .. but I don't know. Joey and Russell both have pros and cons. Joey would actually be a perfect goat at the end if Candice got taken from me, and Russell could be more of a challenge on that front?

I also feel like if I keep Russell, I'll be hurting my relationship with Candice. I mean, Russell is clearly after her .. but on the other side of things, I don't think he's after me. We talk alot and we get along well. I'm playing for myself afterall, right? I love Candice to pieces, but I signed up to win, not to help someone else win. If I keep Joey, I feel like she'll just be what she's been all game .. a dud. She isn't doing anything. I mean, Candice almost nominated her last round. Joey essentially being a non-entity and staying could help me out, but then I also feel like I'm hurting the season's end game. Now, that shouldn't be a concern, but as someone who loves this series, it's actually a factor in my mind. I want a good F5. Russell has told me that Candice told him she's evicting him and that Casey is keeping him, so it's up to me. Ugh! This sucks so much, I can't even. I feel like if I do make the end, I'm losing a Jury vote regardless? This blows! I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, oh my god.

Russell is telling me that he definitely won't be able to vote for me if I make the end, because I haven't done anything to impact the game. He feels that the only way to impact the game is to keep him and evict Joey this week. I felt really bad about this round, struggled with this vote, and for him to say all of this makes me content in my decision. Frankly, I don't support delusions of grandeur. What has he done to impact the game at all? What has Joey done to impact the game at all? Neither have, neither are threatening .. but I'm in an alliance with one, and not with the other who's aligned with someone I want out soon. I guess you can't please everybody! Bye, Russell!

UPDATE: Russell assures me that he really likes me, finds me genuine, but that I haven't done anything to shake up the game, even with my three Power of Veto victories. This, I can understand, but like .. really? It's not even the finals and I'm being critiqued. He doesn't even know half of what's been going on [unless Casey probably told him]. As I said in one of my old entries, this is the stage of the game where I do need to make a visible move; preferably win Head of Household next. I need to get my hands a little dirty.

This game is so much harder than it really should be, honestly. I know what I need to do to make a move, etc, and I'm struggling so much with doing all of it in my head. I need to nominate members of my alliance since I've won this, and it sucks, but I feel like I absolutely need to. I'm clearly not a standout player to the Jurors based on Russell's exit speech. He's only one person, but none of the other people on the Jury right now really knew what was going on as far as I know. Boog, Candice, Casey and I kept things pretty hidden for the most part; it's why Calum always thought it was quiet and nothing was ever happening. I've been talking about needing to make a move for a couple entries now .. needing to do something that will set me apart from the others, and primarily Candice. I've said for awhile now that I want Candice in the end with me, but if I do that, I could just be giving her the easy victory and I'll be walking away again with yet another loss in Rise & Fall. I really don't understand why I've let emotions get the better of me this season. I'm getting too old for this stuff now. Every game gets harder, tbh.

If I wanted to purely listen to Russell's comments, I'd be putting up Boog and Candice inititally, but I can't do that. I feel like keeping Candice and my relationship intact for now is a smart move. I adore her, I feel like she adores me, and I can't play in Head of Household next round. If she wins, I have a chance of not going up and then going all out for the Power of Veto. So, with that being said, Boog and Casey are going up this week. I hate leaving Joey to just sit on the sidelines, smiling all pretty, but this is a game and I need to remember that. I'm here to win first, make friends second. If I win the Power of Veto, then I'm leaving nominations as they are and I honestly don't have a preference who goes. Although, maybe Boog going would be better, as she's better in the Head of Household competitions. Her leaving could increase Candice's chances of winning that F4 competition. I don't know. All I know is, for the first time in this game, I'm about to get some blood on my hands. Normally I'd be thrilled about making a move like this, but I feel a tinge of guilt.

I can't stand Boog. She's honestly grotesque. However, I will say that she's managed to bring up one valid point. If Candice does win Head of Household, it's up to either Candice or I to win Power of Veto to make sure that I stay in the game at that point. This is reminiscent of S4 for me. I'm putting all my eggs in one basket. It didn't pan out well last time, and if it doesn't this time too .. then, what can you do! I'd hate to give Boog the satisfaction of me following her right out of the house [assuming she goes; she better]. I'm also not worried about the F2 accusations. I could actually be naïve, but I do think that Candice meant what she said about her wanting to go the distance with me. We've talked about things that I doubt she'd talk about with just anyone and on top of that, she chose me to branch out of the four to make a separate trio with. You don't do that kind of thing with just anyone unless you plan to stick by them for the long haul. Whether I plan to honor my going to the end with Candice is another story, though. I know she's a threat. She's played a great game. I joined to play and if I'm given the opportunity to nix her at F3, then I might take it. I didn't sign up to play this game to lose, I signed up to win. I do care about Candice tremendously, but at the end of the day, this is a competitive game with only one winner.

My ideal F3 consists of Joey and Candice. If I win that Head of Household competition, then is when I face the music. I'll have to decide whether to go with the obvious goat in Joey or with my new friend, Candice. If Joey wins [not likely], she'd probably take me, not Candice? That could be up for debate. If Candice won, I'd assume she'd take me? Everyone who's walked out of the house so far has said 'Candice is a threat!' in some way. They've essentially been inflating her ego. I'm sure she loves the fact that people believe she'll win if she makes the end. These things will translate into confidence for Candice, where she might feel like, 'hey, I'll take Skye because I adore her, and I think I'll beat her in the end anways; win/win!' Ideally, Candice can't win Final HOH. I do feel like I'd have a hard time against her in the finals, but if I were to lose, I'd rather get second place than third place after playing this series two times before and getting fourth and fifth. Had I replaced Boog with Candice? She wouldn't consider it. Boog and I haven't had much of a close relationship at all. But before I can even get into F3 stuff, I have to make it past the F4. If Casey wins, that'd be crazy. I'd fully expect Casey to put Candice and I up, no questions asked. It'd be Candice and I fighting for our lives. I should stay beside Candice if Joey voted, but who knows? Also, if I won Veto, I'd be choosing between my two F2 options, and eliminate one in the process. Ugh.

This is overwhelming just thinking about it. I need this to work out in my favor. After this argument with Boog, it's reignited that competitive flame in me that I feel has been flickering ever so often during the season. I'll be devastated if I lose my chance at finals.

That was, hands down, probably one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make in an ORG, ever. I really do feel/felt a strong bond with Candice and want to pursue a friendship outside the game with her if she's at all interested after that. However, I feel like I can't let emotional blinders keep me from doing what I signed up to do, and that's to win. I feel like a total bitch about it, but ugh, I feel like if anything should be taken from every member of the Jury as they've walked out, it's that Candice needs to go; they want her head. Now that I've served it to them, it should shoot me to the top? aowkfnhk

I really doubt that Joey shows. It's basically Casey and I fighting for the win right now, at the F3. Kinda' ridiculous. I feel like neither of us will take eachother, too. I do think that Casey could take me and win, though; if he really wanted to. He has way less blood on his hands. I've won more competitions, therefore had to make more decisions, and I've wrecked some things along the way that he was able to keep more intact. Specifically, with our allies. I'm the one that sent both Boog and Candice home, and they could feel he played a great game socially and give him the win, because it's justfiable. I'm not saying Casey doesn't deserve to win, but I don't think my chances would be great whatsoever against him. If I was playing for second place, then I would've much rather kept Candice, so she could win over me. Love Casey, but Candice was always my favorite over both him and Boog, if that wasn't clear! Plus, Joey becoming a Juror, could mean she'd be replaced .. and by who? Gary? Yikes. I'd rather not have to plead my case to him, as I never liked him. I feel like Joey is my only option, and that's such a terrible ending.

As I type this, I'm becoming paranoid over the small possibility of Joey somehow showing and beating me. LMAO. I doubt it. If I do win this, and move onto Part #3, and lose? I'm going to mention everything that I just said to Casey in hopes that he can atleast take me to the F2. I really do think that he'd win over me, but I'd much rather be second than third. If I win, I don't think I can pay him the same respect though, as my chances would be minimal. At best, I think I could score Tahan and Greg, as I had good relationships with them. Candice is iffy, but the others? Doubtful. Boog will be bitter, Russell seemed to like both of us, but probably Casey more, and I've never spoken to Gary. Candice would be the swing, and if I was cold to boot her at the F4, she could be just as cold to give Casey the win, and I'd respect it. An eye for an eye. But, I don't want that to happen! I hope I can pull out this Part #2 win, and win Part #3. If that happens, it's basically Season 9 again, my own lackluster co-finalist. It's a game though, and I need to secure my best chance.
