Round 1: So Far, Not So Good

OK, so I'm definitely definitely behind.  Bad.  I also went out FIRST round in the Majoirty Rules HOH. Also Bad!  

I am finally off from work today and I'm trying to put some major work into socializing with people and getting to know them.  The people I have talked to have mentioned that not much happened before I checked in, but it's hard for me to believe that absolutely no bonds have been formed, because I know how these games work.  Sometimes alliances are figured out in the first few hours. So I definitely do believe that there is a good chance I could go on the block mostly because theres less than 12 hrs til the deadline and I haven't built any relationships. 

Right now I'm chatting with Casey who actually seems really cool....hes from Canada and has two part time jobs.  He seems to have a good temperament we seems to think alike.  It's weird, but I like the font he uses too.

I'm also talking with Skye who was actually the one person I hadn't gotten around to checking in with on AIM, and she also seems really cool and very sweet.  

Aside from them I've chatted just briefly with Tahan, Calum, Candiland, and Boog.  I chatted a little more in depth with Gary last night while results were going up.  No strategy talk whatsoever though so far.  That leaves Greg, Jeff, Joey and Sheila as the people I haven't touched base with yet and I need to make it a point do so, and SOON.  I just want to come across as cool, likable, and available, int he case that I do go on the block, so that they will vote out someone else over me.

Ultimately the person I need to make the best impression with is Boog, who seems super super active, and actually did reach out to me but we have both been on and off AIM and not really been able to make a convo work yet.  So I will basically be on the hunt for her now.

Phew, I was able to chat with Boog a bit before she did her now. I guess there were a few people that were less active them me, so boot nominated them. The two that went up are two of the people I haven't spoken to, Jeff and Sheila. At this point I don't really care at all out of the 2 of them, who goes home. My main goal now is just to buddy up to Boog and make sure that in the chance POV is used, that I don't go up.

Oh, I've also gotten in touch just a bit with Joey, she seems alright, nothing special, yet.

OK, so now I'm picked for the POV! Quick start to this game a i like it! I think people are starting to find their footing. I did the puzzle challenge right away, and i think I did OK, but not great...I had a little delay getting it uploaded on tinypic.

Joey told me her comp froze during it so there's a chance she didn't do well either. Best case scenario is that neither of the nominees win, and noms stay the same.

Sheila seems like kind of a wet blanket by the way, e have finally talked. Jeff also just checked in and IMed me but then left to o the challenge and never came back. So now I've officially talked with everyone aside from Greg

So Boog won again and therefore swept the challenges in the very first round of the game. That's never a good thing. No one's gonna forget it anytime soon and she will be viewed as a threat, which is fine by me. I didn't do as bad as I thought and had I not smoked a blunt before i did the challenge i think i could have won haha

I don't know for 100% sure, but I highly highly doubt Boog is going to use the Veto, honestly, it dones't really make any sense to when you have 2 kind of in actives up. She just be pissing off a more active person which would be dumb. She seems smart so I'm guessing things will stay the same, and if I had to choose out f Jeff and Sheila now, I'd vote Sheila. We've talked VERY little but she seemed like a grump, and Jeff seems very weak but nice, so why not keep the person that would be easier to beat around?
